I founded Saint Safety after a successful 15 year career in the construction H&S industry. I has been fortunate enough to work with and alongside some of the country’s Tier 1 contractors and consultancies which has strengthened my knowledge, experience and skillset. This has enabled me to become a leader in my field as a forward-thinking, practical and approachable health & safety professional.
As Managing Director, I have built the company’s core values around delivering the best possible service and advice to clients. I believe that in order to achieve value for clients, support must be delivered through understanding clients existing H&S culture in order to adapt, improve and sustain good practice.
I have a proven track record in developing, managing and implementing effective health and safety management systems across a range of projects and for various clients. Developing and adapting companies HSE Management systems in conjunction with local and national health and
safety legislation and regulations along with building successful working relationships is one of my key strengths.

I have an impressive portfolio from working alongside some of the ‘worlds’ leading consultancies providing H&S CDM services to having managed the largest electrical infrastructure project in Ireland. Senior H&S Advisor
Reporting directly to the Principal Construction Advisor of Quadrant Construction (construction arm to L&Q Group). As a senior advisor I am responsible for driving L&Q’s policies and procedures forward to the project teams, bringing new initiatives to the table to make sure L&Q are leaders in H&S best practice. As a team we are responsible for the creation, development and presentation of regular training sessions across the company to ensure compliance. I contribute to the team's achievement of its objectives, whilst operating in line with the L&Q values and delivering excellent customer service. I attend H&S meetings for the regions and site visits, in accordance with procedures. Attendance L&Q Group H&S meetings and reviews as required. I maintain industry learning keeping up to date with H&S matters that may impact on the business, ensuring this is rolled out to all staff with suitable training. Drive best practise and consider innovative solutions to keep the division at the forefront of Health and Safety in all aspects of construction productivity. Manage the interface on all aspects of accident reporting, both internally and with subcontractors or HSE as necessary, taking consultant advice as required. Ensure clearance of Health and Safety questionnaires for subcontractors and suppliers, maintaining an up to date register. Support the site Managers as required on all aspects of H&S on site. Senior H&S Consultant
Working as a senior health and safety consultant with the world’s largest and leading real estate services provider. Working within the building consultancy service line which boasts a respectable £30b turnover worldwide. This role has opened opportunities to work alongside some of the world’s most prestigious companies on numerous projects from CAT A/B refurbishments through to huge regeneration projects complimenting to London’s skyline. Working closely with CBRE GWS (Global Workplace Solutions) has allowed me to become a leader in managing safety for the built environment. This position involves advising clients on their duties under health and safety regulations when engaged on construction projects. This role is very much a standalone autonomous position managing a portfolio of clients reporting directly into the head of function. Portfolio includes Barratt London, Selfridges, Facebook, HSBC, Google, Bank of America, Financial Conduct Authority.
Health & Safety Manager
Working as a head of department managing a team of 5, a senior managerial role reporting directly to the Managing Director and support to all project managers and sub-contractors. Working directly for Westfield as Principal Contractor on numerous CAT A/B refurbishments and high end fit outs. Duties include on-site safety presence and 2 weekly comprehensive safety audits. Review and co-ordination of documentation in circulation including the review and approval of risk and method statements.
Proactive assistance to all project managers, site managers and sub-contractors on all health and safety matters. Enforcing local and national legislation and regulations. Ensuring monthly health and safety statistics are being compiled and reviewed, taking lead on accident investigations and hosting/chairing weekly meetings. Projects include Westfield London Phase 2, Westfield Stratford, Breitling, TK MAXX, British Red Cross, Three.
Environmental, Health & Safety Advisor
Onsite EHS Advisor for Kirby Group on the ABB Interconnector converter station in Batterstown Co Meath. Kirby Group were the main electrical contractor onsite working directly for ABB, the project peaked at approx. 80-90 personnel and managed over 5 different vendors and sub-contractors. Kirby T&D were awarded in conjunction with Kirby Group a Mid-West Region award by NISO for our HSE system for the Interconnector project. The Inter-Connector project was the largest electrical infrastructure project undertaken in Ireland.
