With a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and a background in both commercial management and operational management within the construction materials industry I am able to manage successful policies and plans to deliver change and performance within their business, I enjoy working with people to identify the opportunities available to them and find the best solution for them.

Leading, Coaching and Supporting a direct team of 20 operational and commercial
staff, to deliver the production, sales and distribution of products.
Setting individual plant budgets and operational targets, within the regional goals.
managing and measuring performance targets, as well as working in partnership
with the wider asphalt business to deliver group targets. Identifying the most efficient means to implement the strategy of the Express Asphalt business to attract
targeted sectors of customers via working with the marketing team, logistics, credit
services and other internal departments.
National Commercial Manager
A challenging national role combining managing national customer
accounts whilst having key responsibility to improve commercial activities
and identify strategy of the business with a view to driving growth,
increasing customer satisfaction and creating a culture of focusing upon core
market segments and delivering improved service delivery.
Directly responsible for the internal sales team, including coaching
and development of each team member.
During this time, I held an active role within the new product/service
development team for Aggregate Industries working directly with the
divisional Managing Director, and have delivered a number of customer
marketing campaigns and led the launch of a new strategy within
the Express Asphalt business.
