I have worked in engineering and construction for over 40 years. I began in procurement, became a contracts surveyor. I rose through Insulation sub-contracting as Contracts Manager, then Project Manager. Added Asbestos Removal, Fire Protection, Stud Partitioning along the way. Became Managing Director of my own companies in the UK and overseas. Went international from ’91 onwards in Petrochem as QA/QC manager after completing further courses. Added a company of my own as a Manufacturer’s Agent and hired out my own workforce. Went back into Projects Management using my knowledge of Cryogenic Insulation on major LNG construction, then onto PM on modular builds in the Middle East, Asia & Australia. Back in the UK since early 2018 I decided to use my writing skills to prepare for the digital age and did further training with the American Writers & Artists Inc. along with some property development of my own. Everywhere I worked I was the go to Writer for the company and after writing my own novels whilst travelling decided that is where my expertise is needed. Especially post-Covid.
